Ao joined Anderson Anderson Architecture in 2017. With a background in city planning and urban design, Ao has a comprehensive understanding of design on a larger scale. He is not only interested in bolt-and-nut construction details but always has a big picture of the building designs in mind. Growing up as a talented painter with a keen artistic insight, Ao is primarily responsible for the drawings and visual productions in the office. Before joining Anderson Anderson Architecture, Ao worked at Kengo Kuma and Associates in Tokyo, Japan.
