uC SAN DIEGO STICKLEBACK FACILITY

Anderson Anderson Architecture just substantially completed this project in the UC San Diego campus, biology field. Design and Completed in around one year time period, this pewter boxed-looking building, harnessed all the advantage of modular construction – speed, precision, and cost-efficiency. What’s more, under the seemingly simple appearance, was a finesse of advanced building systems – pin foundation system, metal sip panel enclosure system, prefabricated steel module. It will be home for thousands of fish and hopefully, humans can unlock the secrete of evolution from this very building. We can’t wait to visit it in person after this pandemic. And let us know if you want to work with us to build something like this.
